And now Moshé Machover (again) and Naomi Wimborne-Idrissi. If "the wrong sort of Jews" are indeed "a tiny minority", then they are a remarkably large tiny minority. Jews in general are a tiny minority in Britain, but it is quite clear that within that, Jews of this mind are a sizeable presence. The Labour Party seems to be able to find enough of them to kick out.
Yet they include half or more of those Jews who might ever consider voting Labour, as most of them have not done in several decades, and they are a very high proportion of those Jews who are members of the Labour Party, with an unusually high level of active commitment to it. Although one does have to wonder why they bother. Or how much longer they will.
