Scotch Mist

I have been sympathetic towards those who have said that if MPs did their jobs properly, for example through a properly functioning committee system, then there would be no need of a second chamber. But let's just say "Scotland", and leave it at that.

The same goes for those who think that "Proportional Representation" (the generic term for any electoral system other than our own) is some kind of panacea because, being of the liberal elite, they get their own way every day except polling day. I have never, ever heard a working-class Tory complain about First Past the Post. Oh, and "Scotland".

In each constituency in 2024, there should be one candidate, of any party or none, who subscribed to this and thisThe complete list of those candidates would appear here, and anywhere else that would publish it. If I could raise enough money to be a viable candidate, then I would contest the seat where the most people had offered to sign my nomination papers. Please give generously.
