I thoroughly enjoyed that stir-fry of the remains of yesterday's leg of lamb.
Fusion food?
Well, I am told that the Hui substitute lamb for pork in order to render halal the cuisine of their ancestors and of their neighbours (who must be their very distant relatives).
I am also told that there is a thriving trade in kosher Chinese food, due to its lack of dairy, and thus of meat-milk mixing. Really? There is an awful lot of pork and shellfish in it, though.
