Following the sad death of Fr Ian Ker, everyone is understandably talking about his prolific work as the world authority on Saint John Henry Newman.
But if you have not read The Catholic Revival in English Literature, 1845-1961, only one chapter of which is on Newman, then you really should. And if you have, then you really should again.
You reviewed it in one of your own books.
