The opinion of Jacob Rees-Mogg matters not one jot. He is there in case anyone asks to see such a person, and even in that capacity he has been moved from merely doing the House of Commons timetable in the Cabinet to having no identifiable job whatever outside it.

Boris Johnson is as clueless on the definition of a woman as Keir Starmer is. He still will not say what needs to be said. But I am glad to see Johnson's conversion to parental involvement. There was none of that for a blameless 15-year-old, at school, on her period. I also wish David Warburton well. He has presumably not been strip-searched.
