Unite, of which I am a proud member, has better things to do with our money than to give the Labour Party anything more than the affiliation fee, which is purely a mechanism for collecting and passing on many thousands of voluntary payments of the small political levy. Jolly good.
The position of Shadow Secretary of State for Housing has been merged into something else, and the position of Shadow Secretary of State for Employment Rights and Protections has been abolished altogether. Where does this money go? What is the point of the Labour Party? What is it for?
