For The Workers, Not The Woke?

What a curious catchall "woke" is. I really do not like it at all, and I am opposed to almost everything against which it is directed.

But the General Election campaign is now on, and if the Conservatives are indeed pitching themselves as "For the workers, not the woke", then they are not going to have to do anything to prove it.

From their own point of view, that is just as well, because both the anti-worker policies and the "wokery" of transnational capital and of its British client state will be unabated throughout this Parliament.

Yet even in the absence of the slightest evidence, and even in the presence of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, enough people might still imagine that the Conservatives meant what were saying. Labour, on the other hand, cannot even say the words.

  1. I know you don't like the word but anyone who really is for the workers not the woke should vote for you.

    1. They would be welcome to move to North West Durham for the purpose.
