And Here We Are

Apsana Begum was given permission by the Court not to give her home address, for fear of physical attack from within Keir Starmer's Labour Party. And Rosie Duffield will not be attending this month's Conference, for fear of physical attack from within Keir Starmer's Labour Party. Thank goodness that that vile organisation is as unpopular as it is.

To such an extent that it was not mentioned casually, the Labour Party in my day lived in dread that working-class Tories might one day have got their act together. If they had ever made a concerted effort to persuade their habitually Labour-voting, but fundamentally apolitical, neighbours, workmates, and so on, then Labour would have been finished. And here we are.

  1. Neil Kinnock isn't your favourite politician or mine but he used to say this back in the 80s, "Imagine what would happen if those bastards (working class Tories) ever got organised."

As for Starmer's Labour, no MP needed this sort of protection under Corbyn, it's the right that's violent, always has been, always will be.
