Many thanks to everyone who has been in touch to ask why I had not been blogging about the many, many things about which I knew that I should have been. It is more frustrating to me than to anyone else, but that is the combination of chronic pain and clinical depression.
Although they do not know which kind, they have confirmed that I also have an autism spectrum disorder. Today, Lord Falconer "assured" the House of Lords Committee on the Assisted Suicide Bill that "with proper assistance", people like me would "also" be able to "benefit" from that provision, courtesy of a State that could afford to assist us to die but not to assist us to live. Damn right, I'm depressed.
This should be the end of that Bill.
