Yet at the time of writing, even Britain seems to have refused to take the Gruesome Twosome. Well, Keir Starmer said that he wanted to send people back to Bangladesh. His vote in Camden was then cut in half. But perhaps he is being uncharacteristically consistent this time.
Trusting neither the Army nor the Opposition parties very much, the student movement in Bangladesh needs to hold its nerve. And Starmer needs to hold his. Making London the base of the dispossessed Awami League and Tungipara Sheikh dynasty is absolutely the last thing that we could possibly need. One Altaf Hussain is already one too many.

ReplyDeleteHe said at the moment even people from safe countries like Bangladesh are not being deported. He was of course speaking before yesterday's events, so what exactly was wrong with this statement of face? There was a time (before the Conservatives set up a returns agreement) when even "refugees" from Albania were not being deported, which made us look like even more of a laughing stock.
He knows now what was wrong with it.
