Warm and Cordial?

Javier Milei has reiterated Argentina’s “non-negotiable sovereignty” over the Falkland Islands, because of course he has. Thereby, he has simply declared himself an Argentinian, as he did the first time.

That will not bother anyone anywhere but Britain, and it already does not. But it does make him an impossible figure to the British Right. The one place from which its hero of the hour can never come is Argentina.

  2. His domestic policies are good, though. Look at the state of poor Argentina’s economy after decades of socialism and printing money-a living repudiation of Modern Monetary Theory.
