More Than Complicit Now

Please donate here to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, 0.04 per cent of whose staff have been accused of unspecified offences due to "testimony" obtained, if at all, under Israeli torture.

A handful of white supremacist states have therefore kicked back against the International Court of Justice's ruling in favour of the South Africa of which they still resent the loss, by withdrawing support for the agency that is working to relieve what that Court had found to be plausibly a genocide, thereby making themselves active génocidaires.

One of those is the Netherlands, which, without having to bomb anywhere, is also somehow participating in the fatal bombing of Yemen over the death or injury of absolutely nobody by those who are blockading supplies to that genocide. ("A major fire" on an oil tanker due to its having been attacked, but still no injury at all? A shot across the bows, I reckon. Or as good as.) You see, Mark Rutte wants to be Secretary General of NATO. When he is, or even before that, then consider that mere accession to the thing is dependent on the say-so of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who has just graciously approved the admission of Sweden, and of Viktor Orbán, who has still yet to extend such favour.

Another of what are now those actively genocidal states is Britain, and that is the reply to the charge that the British Government had said nothing in response to the ICJ's ruling. It has said this. Rishi Sunak, whose personal skin colour is immaterial to any of the foregoing, had already told Conservative Friends of Israel that Israel could not, by definition, be guilty of genocide, because it was Israel. And now, this.

There remains total silence from the "human rights lawyer" who went on LBC to defend Yoav Gallant's call for a "complete siege" of Gaza, a call that the Court cited as prima facie evidence of genocidal intent. But, assuming a lower turnout at a byelection, if George Galloway took as many votes at Rochdale as he did at Batley and Spen, presumably practically all of them from Labour, then Labour would lose the seat, and George might realistically be the First Past the Post.

And when I tell you that there is going to be a hung Parliament, then you can take that to the bank. I spent the 2005 Parliament saying that it was psephologically impossible for the Heir to Blair's Conservative Party to win an overall majority. I predicted a hung Parliament on the day that the 2017 General Election was called, and I stuck to that, entirely alone, all the way up to the publication of the exit poll eight long weeks later. And on the day that Sunak became Prime Minister, I predicted that a General Election between him and Keir Starmer would result in a hung Parliament.

To strengthen families and communities by securing economic equality and international peace through the democratic political control of the means to those ends, including national and parliamentary sovereignty, we need to hold the balance of power. Owing nothing to either main party, we must be open to the better offer. There does, however, need to be a better offer. Not a lesser evil, which in any case the Labour Party is not.

    1. Yes, 47. In September, so just in time for the General Election.

The UNRWA decision will help George no end.

  2. The “white supremacist” state with an Indian Prime Minister and a black Cabinet Minister, you hilarious clown. You people are a comedy act.

    1. You do not understand what the words mean. Individual cases prove nothing. David Lammy as Foreign Secretary would prove nothing.

Just as no predominantly non-white country apart from the American military colonies of Japan and South Korea has sided with Ukraine, so no predominantly non-white country, at all, has sanctioned UNRWA. That is not a coincidence.

Nor have most of the white ones. Russia, for a start. Or France. Or Luxembourg, Ireland and Norway, with the highest, third highest and fourth highest per capita incomes in the world. Ireland and Norway have specifically said that they will not be withdrawing funding.

And then there is, you know, the whole of the rest of the world. China, say. America and its little sidekicks are like Rip Van Winkle.

  3. “Individual cases”-you mean, like the Prime Minister and Cabinet leading the country-Asians do better than whites on most metrics in Britain, and Israel is itself “predominantly non-white”.You people a comedy act.

    1. Nope, you still don't understand the basic terminology.

Of course I know about Israel. But its supporters in the West don't. Or they would not be its supporters.

  4. Yes, I understand left wing nonsense. Normal people laugh at you. Anybody who isn’t a terrorist supporter opposes the UNRWA after yesterday’s revelations-it was literally caught aiding and abetting racist terrorists.

  5. The UNRWA helped carry out a pogrom. Antibody who donates to it from this day forth is financing terrorism.
