The Labour Party Can F Off

Millions of Israelis would have agreed with Kim Johnson's original words, and until Jeremy Corbyn had to be taken down rather than make them pay tax, then so would numerous MPs on both sides of the House. Shame on her for apologising. The Campaign Group is bigger than it has been in decades, but it is worse than useless. It would have been useful to have seen a Labour MP lose the whip specifically for having criticised the Israeli Government. No more pretence after that.

I defy anyone to come up with a definition either of apartheid or of capital-F Fascism that the new Israeli Government did not meet. Yet it has taken over the politics of Britain more than that of any other country, including Israel. So much for free speech, and so much for national sovereignty. As Pat Buchanan once said of Capitol Hill, the Palace of Westminster is now Israeli Occupied Territory. Although at least American politicians have to be bribed. Ours are doing this for free. For the umpteenth time, and for the second day running, Google is locating me in the ward of the former Leader of Durham County Council. I have never lived or worked there.

But we are heading for a hung Parliament. To strengthen families and communities by securing economic equality and international peace through the democratic political control of the means to those ends, including national and parliamentary sovereignty, we need to hold the balance of power. Owing nothing to either main party, we must be open to the better offer. There does, however, need to be a better offer. Not a lesser evil, which in any case the Labour Party is not.

  1. The Far Left has been drummed out of the Labour Party and out of Parliament altogether.

    1. Funny, you normally claim that it is in government.

Criticism of which other state's government, criticism made under parliamentary privilege, would be a disciplinary offence in both main political parties?

  2. Response from Amnesty: "We would call on Keir Starmer, Rishi Sunak and all parliamentarians to read our 280-page report on Israel’s crushing system of apartheid against Palestinians."

    1. Starmer the fake human rights lawyer strikes again. If anyone in that world has ever heard of him, then it is not for good reasons.
