No Gulf In Thinking

If Iran did not bomb Saudi Arabia's oil plants, then who did? Come to that, if Iran did not bomb Saudi Arabia's oil plants, then why not?

Between nuclear power and this country's vast reserves of coal, which is needed to make the steel out of which such things as wind turbines are in turn constructed, Britain has no need of any relationship with Saudi Arabia, a country that inspires, funds and directs terrorist attacks on our soil.

For all its many faults, Iran does not do that. More generally, Iran may be no Switzerland, but it is certainly no Saudi Arabia. If we must pick a side, and I see no reason why we should, then we have picked the wrong one. But try telling that to most MPs.

Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it. A new party is now in the process of registration. After nearly 30 years of suggestion, speculation, and even a sort of preparation, I will stand for Parliament here at North West Durham. The crowdfunding page is here, and buy the book here. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
