Shame on Look North and The Northern Echo for implying that I wore the same shirt and tie combination two days running. My public expects better than that, and one never lets down one's public.
Anyway, the jury was discharged this afternoon. There are to be "further investigations". No new trial date has been set, not even a date for a Case Management Hearing. Make of that what you will.
What I am making of it is that another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.
It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post.
