They cannot condemn Brunei properly, because then they would have to condemn Saudi Arabia.
Vetoed or otherwise by Donald Trump, the astounding Yemen Resolution of the United States Congress makes it very high time, to say the least, that the arming of Saudi Arabia were brought back to the floor of the House of Commons. This has nothing to do with supporting the other side in Yemen.
Yet Jeremy Corbyn has not done it, because he is too concerned to placate the people who, among other things, cheered on the war in Libya. We now see quite how wrong they were about that, and quite how right he was.

We now see that. Somehow, though, he does not. He remains determined to try and bring them onside. He ought not to be bothering. Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.
It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign. Please email davidaslindsay@hotmail.com. Very many thanks.
