    Just the fact he is a historian. What qualifies you to be on the PCC community panel? Were you in the police?

      That's precisely not the qualification for it.

      A PhD historian with a love of art? Good for him, but not a qualification to the run the V&A. Was this job advertised? Where? When? And who were the other shortlisted applicants?
