The money for Trident should go instead to flood defences.

As well as to civil nuclear power, alongside the exploitation of our vast reserves of coal.

And to properly paid and properly equipped Armed Forces.

Rumour has it that that would still leave a bit.

I am sure that we could think of some uses for that, too.
