Why Is There Any Other News?
Even Blair never lied us into a war by pretending that we were not in it when we were.
We'll see what MPs have to say. I'm told that there is incandescence across the House. Over to Harman to fail to channel it next week. If anyone can, she can. But even so.
Parliament had not expressly rejected any of those wars in the Sixties. Parliament expressly rejected British military involvement in Syria in 2013 and has not changed its mind. The Isis motion was very explicitly about Iraq only. Cameron should resign but Mr. Lindsay is probably right that Labour won't press the issue properly.
That isn't what happened. Parliament voted against war with Assad in Syria.
ReplyDeleteNot against being embedded with those in combat against ISIS, (whom Parliament has approved us bombing in Iraq).
We were embedded with the French and Americans in conflicts we hadn't officially signed up to for 50 years. Didn't you know that?

DeleteCameron should be found in contempt of Parliament, and imprisoned at the pleasure of the House. Why not?
