In The Pink
I had been rather hoping that the Durham Miners' Association would buy the Financial Times.
Will Hutton told Newsnight that he expected ITV and a privatised Channel 4 to fall into foreign hands in the near future. The unions need to be ready to make the bids to prevent that from happening.
Down here, we'd been hoping for the four London Underground unions.
