I do not always agree with Tristram Hunt, but he was right a few hours ago on Radio Four: "The SNP is not a rebel party, but a governing party, and its record, for example on education, is very, very bad."
As Torcuil Crichton of the Daily Record put it, "The SNP has been in power for eight years in Scotland, and in no way is it a radical government."
