The Thirty Per Cent Rule

Uniquely, and as long as no one else in particular does any better, Labour only needs 30 per cent of the votes cast in order to win an overall majority.

That was very nearly obtained in, for heaven's sake, the English county council elections.

With Scotland, Wales and urban England in the mix, there is simply no doubt at all that it will come to pass.

  1. Breaking news.

We've already beaten Labour in Rotherham today.

    Rotherham, of all places!

Labour is leaking voters to us left, right and centre, according to the polls quoted in the New Statesman and Independent.

Just wait for the Euro elections.

We are, well and truly, on our way.

  2. Yes, good luck winning Rotheram, luv...

Or anywhere else, come to that.

After no seats in 2015, you won't exist in 2020.
