Brain Trauma
As suffered, apparently, by three quarters of young offenders.
"Up to three in four young people who commit crimes suffer from the effects of a traumatic brain injury, such as from a direct blow to the head, penetration of the skull or traffic collision. This compares to fewer than one in four of the general population."
What the report was about was "the effects of a traumatic brain injury, such as from a direct blow to the head, penetration of the skull or traffic collision"
If a kid falls of his bicycle hard enough and cracks his head open, if he falls out of a tree, if he's involved in a bad accident, if he gets into fights. There's all manner of ways to suffer a bad head injury.
Throw in the fact some of these people have useless parents who don't raise them properly and you get idiots who can do only one thing in their mind and that's break the law.
I'd be interested to see just how many people in jail use cannabis and just how many use alcohol and tobacco. Maybe they are the things that need banning.

Only you, I think.

And how did they get into those situations?

Your first and third paragraphs are clutching at straws.
ReplyDeleteBut your second is essentially agreeing with me. Think about it.
