You, or your parents, will still be allowed to pay nine thousand pounds upfront to a university at the start of each academic year. That is a lot less than the fees for the grandest schools. And it would, on the basis of parental wealth, avoid the above-inflation, profiteering interest payable by those who will have to wait until after they themselves have graduated and established themselves in careers.
All you are complaining about here is that some people are richer than others. Rich people can buy all sorts of things (and experiences) outright: houses, cars, luxury holidays. I can only buy these now if I pay to borrow the money for them.
ReplyDeleteYou could make an argument for rich people being less rich, or an argument about how to make poor people richer. But you haven't done either here. All you have said here - unless I have missed something - is that rich people have more money. How has our knowledge advanced?
