The Marquess of Lothian, back in the days when he was Michael Ancram MP, was a signatory to the Henry Jackson Society. But now, he articulates the classically High Tory opposition to Trident and support for dialogue with Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas and that creature of our own Foreign Office, the Muslim Brotherhood.
Likewise, on last night's Question Time, another such signatory, the former Reverend Chris Bryant, announced that he had deliberately absented himself from the Commons vote on going to war in Libya. His frontbench position has been unaffected, either by that absence or by last night's announcement of it.
Who next? We live in hope.
