The involvement of Peter Hyman in one of the infinitesimal number of "free" schools that were the Conservative Party's only distinctive policy in 2010, and that involvement's approval by Andrew Adonis, who would have retained the Labour Whip as Cameron's Education Secretary if Cameron had won an overall majority, only serve to prove that that sole distinctive policy is Blairite through and through, and like everything else to do with this Blair continuity government was first dreamt up by Blair himself and by David Miliband when the latter was running the former's Policy Unit.
No more part of the Labour Party now than the Trots are. Might still hold the membership card, but that, if anything, is the limit of their ties to the thing.
