Where do they come from, anyway, these immigrants to Finland, historically part of other people's empires rather than an imperial power in her own right? What made them want to move to Finland, in particular? And how, exactly, did they go about it?
When I visited Helsinki a few years ago I noticed a lot of Somalians in the outer suburbs.
