Here's The Hitch
In his Paxman interview, Christopher Hitchens opined that he "still believed" in dialectical materialism, that he was still a Marxist in his analysis of history and society. The question, therefore, is not why he is still in the Labour Party, but why he was ever in it. Still, it is good to hear this honestly stated by this figure who straddles the neoconservatism of one of his passports and the Blairism (in all three parties) of the other. This is who they both really are. And that is the problem with both of them.
