Towards Extinction
Apparently, Richard Dawkins is on again tonight. The trailers indicate that it is his usual, but why not? He did not become one of this country's leading popular entertainers without giving the punters what they want. However, I have barely registered the words, since I have been so struck by the appearance of Richard Dawkins. He will be 70 next year. And, to say the very least, he looks it.
Does Dawkins do any regular, laboratory science anymore? I know he is older now, so he is entitled to a retirement and all, but it seems like he has been engaged in his secular humanist crusade for a very long time now, as opposed to being in the thick of actual scientific work.
ReplyDeleteHe hasn't really done any for decades.
