Anti-Collectivist, Indeed
"Which laws would you repeal?", asked Newsnight. A predictably angry woman came on to demand the end of Christian collective worship in state schools. No chance, under a Conservative-led Government? Don't you believe it, so to speak. Until it was seen off by a cross-party alliance in the House of Lords, the last attempt to do this, indeed the only ever such attempt, was made by Margaret Thatcher.
