Congratulations to those civil servants "paid more than David Cameron". Quite an achievement to have beaten a man worth thirty million pounds despite never having had a job.
We should be demanding and introducing legislation to the effect that no one at all be paid more than the Prime Minister, that no company be permitted to pay any of its employees more than ten times what it pays any of its other employees, and that the whole public sector (including, of course, the Prime Minister) function as a single entity for this purpose, with its median wage fixed at the median wage in the private sector.
Although I am not so sure about this next bit, that median might do as the salary for MPs. Why not?
