Any government with either or both of Labour and the Lib Dems in it should legislate immediately to ban anyone from owning more than one national daily newspaper, more than one weekly newspaper, or more than one television station (including ITV regional franchise). After all, if that were the Government, then why would Murdoch want to keep them? It would be obvious that no one was any longer listening to him.
