None of them countered the outrageous suggestion that the Pope had engaged in a "cover up".
None of them asked what progress embryonic stem cell "research" had ever made, or contrasted that lack of results with the adult and cord blood stem cell research that struggles to secure funding because, however successful it may be, it does not offend the Catholic Church.
And none of them asked where in Africa condom use had reduced HIV infection, whereas adherence to the principles of abstinence before marriage and fidelity within it does in fact have that effect.
Meanwhile, however wrong Julian Lewis may be about a great many things, he is obviously correct that there is a far higher risk of HIV infection from a particular sexual activity which is most common in a male homosexual context. He should have said that he favoured raising the age of consent to 18 across the board. No one ever does, just as no one ever counteracts, asks or contrasts as set out above. So they all need to be replaced with people who do.
