Still Fighting The 1983 Election
The Lib Dems' half-hearted nod towards scrapping Trident is the only good thing about them. But we are under a sort of occupation by people to whom the world only makes sense in terms of the Cold War. Some of them were supporters of Pinochet, Marcos, Papa and Baby Doc, apartheid South Africa, and that last's Rhodesian satellite. Others were Trotskyists. There was little substantial difference at the time. There is none today.

ReplyDeleteBit rich coming from someone who supports the ideas of B A Santamaria in Australia.
last's Rhodesian satellite
????
Santamaria is dead. Like the Soviet Union, in fact.
ReplyDeleteI do not understand your question marks about Rhodesia's dependence on South Africa, although even that Boer revenge republic never removed the Union Flag from its own, as the Rhodesian rebel regime did.
