He is only in the Shadow Cabinet because he is professionally homosexual, a sort of posh Graham Norton. But the Tory benches have always been full of those thus inclined. Surely, if there must be such a token appointment, then it must be possible to find someone better to appoint?
As for how “Alan made a bad mistake”, what about you, Dave? Yes, there is “real fury” out here. But you ought to be the target of it. For the fact that you are not, you may thank the Blairite Bodyguard Corps, formerly the British Broadcasting Corporation. As, no doubt, you will. Over, and over, and over again.
I find it amazing Duncan .....once a kind of Alan B'stard figure (the Rik Mayall creation) is re-born as a caring person because of his homosexuality.
ReplyDeleteWas this not the same Alan B'st ......er Alan Duncan who was involved in purchase of ouncil homes using impoverished OAPS as front men.
The very same.
ReplyDeleteAnd everyone has always known about his homosexuality. If he was ever trying to hide it, then he certainly wasn't doing much of a job.
when does one go from being an amateur homosexual to being "professionally homosexual"?
ReplyDeleteDo tell David, you are such an expert on such matters...
When you become Graham Norton. Or Alan Duncan.
ReplyDeleteIt's the term "practising homosexual" that I never understand. Have you ever met a non-practising homosexual? Or, indeed, a non-practising heterosexual?
"Have you ever met a non-practising homosexual? Or, indeed, a non-practising heterosexual?"
ReplyDeleteIf you mean "someone who has homosexual/heterosexual thoughts but does not act on them", then yes. I have, myself, been a non-practising heterosexual, although I now practise heterosexuality with enthusiasm.
Thoughts, words and deeds.
ReplyDeleteOmission, commission and permission.
And all that.
