Down Is Up
Affordable housing and a return to public transport? You'd think it was the end of the world. Only for those who regard themselves as exclusively entitled to a nice home and the ability to get from A to B. And for them, being brought down is long, long, long overdue. Now, we just need to State to give a few more gentle pushes even further in the direction of affordable housing and a return to public transport. That's what it's there for.
Affordable housing can be achieved by getting rid of all the planning regulators & promoting modular housing. This would bring house prices down to 25% of what they are or at least were in the cummer. For some reason a lot of money men don't want that.
ReplyDeleteAffordable public transport could be achieved by automating rail systems allowing lots of single carriage units, controlled by computer. This cuts costs, greatly increased capacity & lets you get home after the pubs close.
