Just as Obama is not going to be a spectacular President, the real McCain would not have been a terribly bad one. He should count himself very lucky that, with Hillary Clinton off the ballot, he will still be getting any votes at all from all those suburban Moderates and Independents whom he once offered a real voice and a real choice. Sarah Palin? I ask you!
Meanwhile, in what sense is Joe Lieberman, paraded as a "Moderate" at a McCain rally yesterday, really any such thing? Is one automatically a "Moderate" if guaranteed a Cabinet seat regardless of who becomes President, entirely regardless of one's opinions or record?
I am not going to vote for McCain or Obama. I will vote for a third party candidate in hopes that my vote will help create a viable third party. Both candidates say that they are not going to raises your income taxes.
