Before anyone writes in, the Queen's current title was conferred by Parliament on Edward VI. It is not the title conferred on his father, Henry VIII, by the Pope, which was of course revoked.
Anyway, whatever "the Faith" in question might be, it certainly precludes the extension of the title "The Royal Society" to any organisation that behaves like this.
