The Restoration of Proper Exams
Well, not quite. But Alan Johnson is as far as anyone could wish from old-school Marxism, and about as far as anyone could realistically hope from the neoconservatism that it spawned. He has even managed to secure the nominations of Frank Field and Kate Hoey; so he must be all right, really. Still cast any vote that you might have for Jon Cruddas, by means of a simple number 1 incapable of redistribution. But don't weep if Johnson wins in the end.
