So far as I have been able to trace, no one has so much as resigned the Labour whip in either House of Parliament or on any other body over the recognition of the State of Palestine. All that business under Jeremy Corbyn must really have been about something else.
The United Kingdom recognises Palestine as a sovereign state, that state is at peace with His Majesty, and the State of Israel is at war with it. Enlistment by a British citizen in the Israeli Defense Forces is therefore a criminal offence under the Foreign Enlistment Act 1870. Any policy of not prosecuting dual nationals who had been conscripted would still not be the law, and anyone else would be bang to rights.
Israel is about to recognise the Falkland Islands as part of Argentina.
