France may wobble and let Turkey into the EU after all, although Sarkozy would sacrifice his second term if he alienated to that extent the people whose votes whose votes would need at least in the second round of the next Presidential Election. But after this week, we know that there is one country on which we can rely to veto the Turkish application.
