Time was when those who expressed their aspiration to "anarchy in the UK" could also accuse the Labour Government of the day of being a "Fascist regime". Would that such a distinction were still possible.

The Single Justice Procedure could not have been designed to be anything other than anarcho-tyrannical. Only an anarcho-tyranny could have devised it. And only Britain could be quite that much of one.

ReplyDelete75,000 train fare convictions were overturned, and the fines were at least supposed to have been refunded. It may be worth looking into whether they ever had been.
