Practical Invitation

Argentina "practically invited" into the Falkland Islands? Only if, 20 years after departing, Margaret Thatcher is back as Prime Minister.

    The Argentinians will call it "Operation Nehru" in tribute to the Indian PM who unilaterally seized Portugal's Indian enclaves - to the annoyance of those of who lived there, an act of aggression recognised by Britain.

    What comes around, goes around in your Commonwealth.

    India would never have done that to England's oldest ally if she had still been under British rule.
