Good Value For Whose Money?

Rachel Reeves is more than happy to see higher public subsidies to the railways than they ever had in public ownership.

She is more than happy to see privatised energy prices go up by seven per cent last April, by 12 per cent in October, and by 50 per cent a few short weeks from now. She is perfectly happy to have a war with Russia for the source of much of that energy.

This may not strike you or me as good value for money. But she is not talking about us. She is not thinking about us. She is barely aware that we exist, and she rather wishes that we did not.

    1. As should the Conservative Party, and as should the Liberal Democrats.
