The service will be held at 1.30 pm on Monday 15th November 2021, at St Thomas's Church, Wolsingham Road, Stanley Crook, County Durham, DL15 9RN.
Cremation will follow the church service, at Durham Crematorium, South Road, Durham, DH1 3TQ. The wake will take place at Crook Golf Club, Low Jobs Hill, Crook, County Durham, DL15 9AA.
Davey was 90. He signed my nomination papers for the last General Election. Indeed, he did so inside the Durham Miners' Hall at Redhills.
