Progress With Unity

Lisa Nandy's majority at Wigan is 6,728 over the Conservatives. Take out the 5,959 votes for the Brexit Party, and it goes down to 769. Yet she proposes to spend the next General Election campaign 200 miles away in Islington North.

There, she intends to campaign against a man who would by then have been the MP for 41 years, and whose majority in 2019 had been 26,188, which was 5,146 more than Nandy's total.

For all his imperfections, reelect Jeremy Corbyn. Voters of Islington North, you were going to do that, anyway. And remove Lisa Nandy. Voters of Wigan, you were going to do that, anyway.
