Pop Goes The Labour Party

Labour would need to do a lot better than 35 per cent of the national vote, to the Conservatives' 33, if it wanted to overturn a majority of 81. Another poll today has it on 36, but to the Conservatives' 40.

From Pop onwards, the only election that Boris Johnson has ever lost was for the Presidency of the Oxford Union, and he went on to win that at the second attempt.

So Keir Starmer will be to blame for the scale of Labour's defeat. But not for the fact of it. Never bet against Boris Johnson.

    1. She would not. But Starmer is none of those things, and nor has he, any more than Corbyn has. Johnson is just one of those people.
