Enduring, Freedom

It has been 30 years since the Cold War turned out to have been the original WMD hoax. Rather than admit the truth, attention shifted instead to the ghastliness of the regime, which had never in itself made it a threat to us. The rest is history, from Tripoli, to Baghdad, to Kabul.

According to NATO's ridiculous reasons for continuing to exist, Turkey is strategically its second most important member after the United States. Turkey, the Islamist Government of which has unsurprisingly backed the Taliban to the hilt.

Meanwhile, the Taliban's flag flies more and more over Pakistan. Under the hallowed name of the Land of the Pure, and on the ideological basis of whatever Taliban 2.0 turns out to be, the de facto and perhaps even de jure unification of Afghanistan and nuclear armed Pakistan looks more and more like a fait accompli.

But however bad that may be, it would still not be a threat to Britain. Our Armed Forces are not there to make the world a better place. They are there to defend our homeland and our people. If you want to make the world a better place, then preach the Gospel.

  1. Would the ISI ever allow the Taliban near the nuclear codes?

    1. It does not even allow elected politicians anywhere near them. But it largely created the Taliban, and the Taliban 2.0 position will turn out to be very, very close to its own.
