Well, of course Labour is sneering at the idea of a tunnel between Stranraer and Larne. Just as it sneers at the idea of a rail link between Consett and Tyneside.
It is all for the rail links between every Home Counties town and London, and so am I. It is all for the tunnel between Folkestone and Calais, and so am I.
But of course it sneers at the idea of a rail link between Consett and Tyneside. And of course it is sneering at the idea of a tunnel between Stranraer and Larne.
