The ridiculous impeachment trial of Donald Trump is underway, even though there is no possibility of a conviction. The British cult of the American Democratic Party is utterly bewildering.
It is economically well to the right of any mainstream party in Western Europe. It is militarily hawkish to an extent that would be unimaginable in any other advanced country. And it fills up its time with rubbish like this.
